The Comparison of Financial Self-sufficiency of Municipalities in the Czech Republic and in France

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Srovnání finanční soběstačnosti obcí v České republice a ve Francii“ je srovnání míry finanční, fiskální soběstačnosti a míry samofinancování z příjmů, které mají stejné dopady na chování obcí v letech 2006 až 2009. První část je zaměřena na definici finanční soběstačnosti a její výhody a nevýhody pro decentralizovanou úroveň. Zároveň tato část definuje příjmy, které jsou relevantní pro finanční soběstačnost obcí. Druhá část se věnuje charakteristice příjmů a výdajů v České republice a ve Francii. Třetí část propočítává finanční soběstačnost v obou zemích pro období 2006 až 2009, přičemž se zabývá i rozdílností finanční soběstačnosti vzhledem k různým velikostním kategoriím obcí.

Abstract:

The subject of the graduation thesis „The comparison of financial self-sufficiency of municipalities in Czech Republic and in France” is the comparison of the financial and fical rate of the resources, which has sames incidences of the behaviour of municipalities in years 1993 -2008. The first part nail down the financial self-sufficiency of municipalities and its conveniences and disavantages for decentralization`s level of management. In same time this part inscribe the revenues which are relatives for financial self-sufficiency of municipalities. The second part focuses on particular types of revenues of municipalities in Czech Republic and in France. The final part counte the financial self-sufficiency of municipalities in the both of countrys for period 2006 – 2009. In same time this part is dealth with the financial self-sufficiency of municipalities with regart to their size.
