Causes of juvenile offenders recidivism

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá příčinami recidivy mladistvých pachatelů trestné činnosti. Práce vymezuje a definuje základní pojmy, mezi které patří mladistvý, kriminalita, delikvence a kriminální recidiva. Soustředí se na základní významy kriminální recidivy a uvádí její dělení dle různých faktorů. Práce dále analyzuje trestnou činnost mladistvých v letech 2022, 2021 a 2020 a vymezuje charakteristické rysy trestné činnosti, která je mládeží páchána. V teoretické části práce dále uvádí možnosti právní kontroly kriminality mladistvých. Práce se zaměřuje na osobnostní a sociální příčiny mladistvých pachatelů a předkládá možnosti prevence. V praktické části je využita explorativní metoda výzkumu, jehož cílem bylo zjistit skutečné příčiny kriminality a recidivy mladistvých pachatelů trestných činů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the causes of recidivism of juvenile offenders. The thesis defines and delineates the basic terms, which include juvenile, delinquency, and criminal recidivism. It focuses on the basic meanings of criminal recidivism and gives its division according to various factors. The paper also analyses juvenile crime in 2022, 2021 and 2020 and identifies the characteristics of crime committed by juveniles. In the theoretical part of the thesis, it also presents the possibilities of legal control of juvenile crime. The thesis focuses on the personal and social causes of juvenile offenders and presents options for prevention. In the practical part, an exploratory research method is used to find out the real causes of juvenile offenders' criminality and recidivism.
