Fundraising plan for NGO Every Czech reads to kids

Abstract:

V teoretické části této práce se nejprve pokusím vymezit pojmy neziskového sektoru, obecně tento sektor definovat a uvést do problematiky financování neziskového sektoru a fundraisingu. V práci uvedu zdroje financování soukromých neziskových organizací, charakterizuji metody a techniky fundraisingu. V závěru teoretické části přiblížím organizaci Celé Česko čte dětem, o.p.s., které je modelem pro fundraisingový plán, jenž je cílem této bakalářské práce. V praktické části analyzuji historii a současný stav organizace, vymezím kritické faktory neúspěchu. S ohledem na dlouhodobé cíle organizace se pokusím navrhnout fundraisingový plán pro vybranou organizaci Celé Česko čte dětem, o.p.s. na období 2011-2013.

Abstract:

Initially, the theoretical part of the thesis will attempt to define the terms of the non-profit sector, specifying this sector broadly, and introducing the issues of non-profit organisation funding and fundraising. The thesis will list various resources of funding for private non-profit organisations and characterise fundraising methods and techniques. In the conclusion of this part, the organisation Celé Česko čte dětem o.p.s. (Every Czech Reads to Kids) will be portrayed, representing the model for a fundraising plan which is the actual subject of my thesis. The practical part will, first of all, analyse the history and the present state of the organisation, determining the critical factors of failure. In view of the long-term aims I will try to propose a fundraising plan for the selected organisation, Celé Česko čte dětem, o.p.s., for the period 2011-2013.
