Comprehensive physiotherapy of tennis elbow by shockwave therapy

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou diagnózy epicondylitis lateralis a návrhem na komplexní fyzioterapii tohoto onemocnění. V obecné části bakalářské práce pojednává o teoretických poznatcích z oblasti anatomie, kineziologie a biomechaniky loketního kloubu a předloktí. Dále popisuje příznaky a faktory ovlivňující vznik onemocnění tenisového lokte. Práce je zaměřena na vyšetřovací metody, fyzioterapeutické postupy a koncepty vhodné pro léčbu a prevenci tohoto onemocnění. Z fyzikální terapie popisuje především aplikaci rázové vlny, její indikace a kontraindikace. Ve speciální části se věnujeme komplexní fyzioterapii u pacientky s tenisovým loktem, vyšetřovacím metodám, fyzioterapeutickým postupům a fyzikální terapii s aplikací rázové vlny. Nejvíce jsem se zaměřila na měkké techniky, mobilizace a postizometrickou relaxaci, dále metodu R. Brunkow, dynamickou neuromuskulární stabilizaci, proprioceptivní neuromuskulární facilitaci, cvičení v uzavřených i otevřených kinematických řetězcích s pomůckami a aplikaci kinesiotapu. Z fyzikální terapie aplikování rázové vlny. Snahou bylo odstranění bolesti, naučení autoterapie pacientky, navržení krátkodobého a dlouhodobého rehabilitačního plánu a navrácení pacientky do aktivního života. Výsledky práce a aplikace rázové vlny měly pozitivní účinky a stanovené cíle a úkoly práce byly splněny.

Abstract:

This work deals with the diagnosis of epicondylitis lateralis and a proposal for a comprehensive physiotherapy of this disease. In the general part of this thesis deals with the theoretical knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanocs of elbow and forearm. It also describes the symptoms and factors influencing disease emergence tennis elbow. This work is focused on investigative methods, physiotherapy procedures and concepts suitable for the treatment and prevention of this disease. The physical therapy mainly describes the application of shock waves, its indications and contraindications. In the special part is devoted to comprehensive physiotherapy by patient with tennis elbow, investigative methods, procedures of physiotherapy and physical therapy with application by shock waves. I have focused most on soft techniques, mobilization and post-isometric relaxation, the method of R. Brunkow, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, propriceptive neuromuscular facilitation, training in open and closed kinematic chains with tools and application of kinesiotape. The aim was to eliminate the pain, learn autotherapy, proposing short-term and long-term rehabilitation plan and the return of patient to an active life. The results of this work and results of application by shock wave therapy had positive effects and set goals and tasks have been fulfilled.
