Abstract:
The submitted thesis is dealing with the topic of liability for defects of a sold thing. Besides the Civil Code regulation also the consumer law, EU law and English and Austrian legal regulation is concerned. The thesis is divided into nine parts that are dealing with the definition of liability, liability for defects, historical view and defining problematic aspects of the topic.
