Abstract:

Otevřené hvězdokupy jsou výborné laboratoře pro výzkum mnoha astrofyzikálních procesů. K objasnění mnoha otevřených problémů může přispět využití synergií rentgenových dat a astrometrie mise Gaia. V mé práci zkoumám otevřenou hvězdokupu M7, která byla až doposud obtížně studovatelná a která má nevyužitá archivní rentgenová data z družice XMM-Newton. Po teoretickém úvodu, který dává základ této práci, se zabývám korekcí fotometrie a astrometrie z nedávného Early Data Release 3 mise Gaia, aplikování rozličných filtračních kritérií a studiu jejich vlivu na vlastnosti studovaného pole hvězdokupy s cílem získání katalogu členů hvězdokupy. Poté se věnuji analýze rentgenových dat, zejména populaci bodových zdrojů a difuzní emise. Za hlavní výsledky práce považuji zkoumání vlivu filtrace podle indikátorů kvality na populaci členů hvězdokupy, detekce možné začínající hmotnostní segregace a objasnění podstaty difuzní emise, která je pravděpodobně neznámá galaktická kupa nebo pozůstatek po supernově v pozadí hvězdokupy.

Abstract:

Open clusters are great laboratories for studying various astrophysical processes. In order to address some outstanding questions, making use of the synergies between the X-ray data and the astrometry from the Gaia mission may open new possibilities. In this work, I study open cluster M7, which has been difficult to study before and which has unused X-ray archival data available from the XMM-Newton satellite. After laying some theoretical foundations, I deal with the corrections of Gaia astrometry and photometry from the recent Early Data Release 3, apply various quality criteria, and study their impact on the observed population of the cluster field sources in order to obtain the list of the cluster members. I then analyze the X-ray data, focusing on the point source population and the presence of a diffuse component. The main outputs of this work are the characterization of the impact of spurious source filtration using various quality criteria and flags on the cluster members population, the detection of a possible loss of low-mass stars in the cluster center, and determination of the origin of the diffuse emission component, which is most likely, an unknown galaxy cluster or a supernova remnant.
