Tato magisterská práce se zaměřuje na tři současné americké filmy: The Accountant (2016), Music (2021) a Please Stand By (2017) a hodnotí je z hlediska zobrazení postav s poruchami autistického spektra. Práce přináší informace o autismu a jeho historii, jakož i základní souvislosti a klíčové argumenty disability studies a neurodiverzity. This master’s thesis focuses on three contemporary American films: The Accountant (2016), Music (2021), and Please Stand By (2017), and their portrayal of autism spectrum disorder. The thesis provides information on autism, its history, and essential context along with key arguments of disability studies and neurodiversity.
