Graphical User Interface of a Website and a Mobile Application for Travelers and Amateur Guides

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tvorbou grafického uživatelského rozhraní (GUI) webové a mobilní aplikace. Ta má za cíl svým konceptem a zpracováním zjednodušit propojení cesto-vatelů a obyvatel, kteří jsou ochotni v místě jejich bydliště cestovatele provádět. Jedná se o aplikaci založenou na komunitě a sdílené ekonomice. V první části této práce jsou zpracovány teoretické aspekty, které ovlivní tvorbu webové i mobilní aplikace. Je zde popsán průzkum trhu aplikací zaměřených na turismus, cestování a poskytování služeb průvodců. Součástí je také analýza cílové skupiny a současných trendů v turismu. Praktická část se zabývá podrobným popisem principu služby a vlastním zpracová-ním GUI obou platforem. Rozhraní je tvořeno s ohledem na nároky dnešních uživatelů a současné trendy v tvorbě GUI.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the creation of graphical user interface (GUI) for a website as well as a mobile application that aims at simplifying the connection between travelers and their guiding residents at the destination. It is a community- and shared-economy-based application. In the first part of this work I will elaborate on theoretical aspects that influence the creation of the website and mobile applications. The results of the application users' market survey focused on tourism, travel and guides services will be presented and evaluated. Furthermore, an analysis of the target group and current trends in tourism will be as well highlighted here. The practical part of this diploma thesis presents the detailed description of the service principle and the actual processing of the GUI of both platforms. The interface is based on the demands of today's users and the current trends in GUI creation.
