Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá počátky fungování Československého egyptologického ústavu, jeho vnitřní organizací a arabistickým oddělením ústavu. Dále se pak věnuje expedicím ústavu do Núbie v rámci mezinárodní kampaně UNESCO a jejich vlivu na postavení, chod a vědeckou koncepci ústavu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with beginning of activity Czechoslovak Institute of Egyptology, itˈs internal organization and department of Arabic studies in the institute. Then dedicate to expedition of the institute to Nubia under the international campaign of UNESCO and itˈs influence on position, operation and scientific conception of the institute.
