Statistical analysis of the impact of financial crisis on the balance of payments in the Slovak and Czech republic

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on statistical analysis of the financial crisis and its impact on the balance of payments regarding the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic also. The first chapter describes origins of economic crisis and its impact on economy. The structure of the balance of payments, basic economic terms definitions, individual items and balances are discussed in the second chapter. The third chapter analyzes particular statistical methods and the last, fourth chapter deals with development of balance of payments, especially on the current account and use of statistical methods in the comparison with the Czech Republic.

Abstract:

V mojej bakalárskej práci, ako je zrejmé aj z názvu, som štatisticky analyzoval dopad hospodárskej krízy na platobnú bilanciu Slovenskej a Českej republiky. Prvá kapitola popisuje hospodársku krízu, jej vznik a dopad na hospodárstvo. Druhá kapitola rozoberá problematiku platobnej bilancie, vysvetľuje základné pojmy, popisuje štruktúru a jednotlivé položky a saldá platobnej bilancie. Tretia kapitola opisuje vybrané štatistické metódy a na záver v štvrtej kapitole je rozobratý vývoj platobnej bilancie, respektíve bežného účtu, použitie štatistických metód v komparácií s Českou republikou.
