Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to summarize the knowledge of the CD20 molecule, the mechanisms of regulation of this transmembrane protein and to describe its known functions of the healthy and malignant B cells. The CD20 molecule is a significant target for monoclonal antibodies used in the treatment of B-cell malignancies more than 20 years.
