Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá funkčním. Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První část je teoretická a porovnává různý pohled lingvistů na pojem funkční jazyk a funkčně-nocionální sylabus, historický vývoj a zahrnutí funkcí jako prvku výuky anglického jazyka, roli funkčního jazyka v přístupech a metodách k výuce, prezentaci funkčního jazyka v učebnicích angličtiny, analýzu významu a stupně formality, formy a výslovnosti ve skupinách funkčních exponentů na základě materiálů z praktické části. Druhá část, je založená na dvou vyučovacích hodinách ve dvou testovacích skupinách. Výuka v první skupině probíhá podle instrukcí z učitelské příručky. Výuka v druhé skupině na základě stejného materiálu, avšak hodina je upravena na základě kapitol rozebraných v teoretické části. Získaná data z hodin jsou porovnána a z výsledků jsou vyvozeny závěry a možné uplatnění v budoucích hodinách.

Abstract:

This paper researches the topic of functional language. The thesis consists of two parts. First part is theoretical and compares various definitions of functional language and functional-notional, historical perspective on the inclusion of functions as a component in English language teaching, the role of functional language in recent approaches and methods, presentation of functional language in mainstream coursebooks, analysis of meaning and degree of formality, form and phonological features in groups of functional exponents based on the material to be taught in the second part. The second part of the paper is practical. Two lessons are realised. First lesson is to be taught in accordance with the instructions in one of the coursebooks. The second lesson is to be taught with the same material; however, the results of the evaluation and critique discussed in the theoretical part will lead to changes in this second material. Data collected from the two lessons are compared and from the results, conclusions are drawn and possible implementations of the findings are presented.
