Kinematic geometry

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se zabýváme kinematickou geometrií, cílem je přiblížit téma žákům středních a vysokých škol. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. V první uvádíme základní pojmy kinematické geometrie a předkládáme čtyři způsoby určení pohybu neproměnné rovinné soustavy. Druhá kapitola stanovuje aparát pro popis rovinných křivek a jejich klasifikaci. V nejobsáhlejší třetí kapitole pak rozebíráme konkrétní křivky, jejich vznik pohybem neproměnné rovinné soustavy, jejich rovnice, základní vlastnosti a aplikace. Kapitola čtvrtá shrnuje práci s programy, kterých bylo v práci využito. Text je doprovázen ukázkami ve formě obrázků. Ke třetí kapitole je navíc vytvořena série java appletů a videí, která názorně doplňuje popis vzniku daných křivek.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with kinematics geometry. Its aim is to introduce the topic to the secondary and university students. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter basic terms of kinematics geometry are introduced and four types of the determination of the movement of the invariable plane system are presented. The second chapter defines the apparatus for the description of plane curves and their classification. The third and the most extensive chapter deals with specific curves, their formation by the movement of the invariable plane system, their equations, basic characteristics and applications. The fourth chapter summarizes work with computer programs which had been used in the thesis. The text is accompanied with demonstrations in the form of pictures. Chapter three is also provided with a series of java applets and videos, which illustrate the description of the curves formation.
