Abstract:

Diplomová práce Online spolupráce ve výuce angličtiny na vyšším stupni základní školy studuje možnosti přístupu online spolupráce se zaměřením na podporu všech žáků, aby se aktivně zapojili do procesu učení a rozvíjeli svou autonomii a odpovědnost za učení. Teoretická část poskytuje teoretické základy online učení pomocí spolupráce, popisuje jeho implementaci, definuje role učitelů a studentů, diskutuje o technologiích a nástrojích podporujících online kooperativní učení, věnuje se různým formám hodnocení a zavádí některé techniky společného učení. Empirická část popisuje postup akčního výzkumu, který byl proveden na skupině devátého ročníku základní školy. Zaměřuje se na aplikaci různých úkolů spolupráce, popisuje použité výzkumné metody a prezentuje výsledky a jejich analýzy. Výsledky výzkumu potvrzují důležitost dobrých znalostí učitelů o jejich žácích, aby jim mohli poskytovat zajímavé a poutavé aktivity a posilovat dovednosti kritického myšlení žáků.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Online Collaborative Work in EFL Classes at Lower-secondary School studies the possibilities of online collaborative approach with a focus on encouraging all the learners to actively engage in the learning process and develop their autonomy and responsibility for learning. The theoretical part provides a theoretical background to online collaborative learning, describes its implementation, defines teachers and learners’ roles, discusses the technology and tools supporting online collaborative learning as well as it addresses the different forms of assessment and introduces some collaborative learning techniques. The empirical part describes the process of action research that was carried out with a group of ninth graders at a lower-secondary school. It focuses on applying various collaborative tasks and describes the classroom research, including data analysis and findings. The results of the research confirm the importance of teachers’ good knowledge of their learners to be able to provide them with interesting and engaging activities, and of reinforcing learners’ critical thinking skills.
