Possibilities for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the evaluation of the effectiveness of the insulation of agricultural buildings

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá měřením tepelných úniků budov zemědělského typu. V závislosti na rozměrech těchto budov je třeba se zamyslet, jak zefektivnit hodnocení jejich tepelných ztrát. Nejvíce využívanou technologií pro měření úniků tepla je pomocí ručních termokamer. Vzhledem k velkým plochám a časové náročnosti se nabízí využít bezpilotní prostředek, který disponuje vhodnými vlastnostmi pro tento úkol. Měření však proběhlo pomocí termokamery, díky čemuž se na základě výsledků zvolila oblast, za jakých podmínek je efektivnější využít dron. Pro průkazné měření je třeba rozdílu mezi vnitřními a vnějšími teplotami. Proto byly pro experiment zvoleny haly určené na výkrm kuřat, kde je vyžadováno vyšších teplot. Z výsledku vyplynulo, že tepelné úniky jsou vážným problémem. Všechny zkoumané budovy prokázaly tepelné ztráty. Úniky se lišily v závislosti na konkrétním typu měřené haly a na použité izolaci. Ztráty se projevily především u starších budov s netěsnostmi a odhalenými částmi konstrukcí. Úniky byly hlavně ve formě značných tepelných mostů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the measurement of heat leakage in agricultural buildings. Depending on the dimensions of these buildings, it is necessary to consider how to improve the assessment of their heat losses. The most used technology for measuring heat leakage is by using handheld thermal cameras. Considering the large areas and the time required, it is suggested to use an unmanned vehicle with suitable characteristics for this task. However, the measurements were done using a thermal imaging camera, which led to selecting an area under which conditions it is more efficient to use a drone. The difference between internal and external temperatures is essential for a conclusive measurement. Therefore, sheds requiring higher temperatures designed for chicken fattening, were chosen for the experiment. The result showed that heat leakage is a significant problem. All the buildings investigated showed heat loss. The leakage varied depending on the specific type of hall measured and the insulation used. Losses were particularly evident in older buildings with leaks and exposed structural construction. Leakages were mainly in the form of significant thermal bridges.
