Abstract:

Lešanské jesličky jsou poslední vydanou knihou Františka Hrubína. Vypráví v ní příběh starý 2 000 let, který je ale zasazen do doby a krajiny jeho dětství. Putování Marie a Josefa, kteří se vrací domů ze křtin s dítětem v náruči, je přerušeno sněhovou vánicí a přízrakem, který je pronásleduje. Herodův žoldnéř na cestě zavraždit Jezulátko zažene poutníky do krčmy, aby si odpočinuli. Dítě ale zůstane venku. V knize jsem pracovala s atmosférou zimní krajiny v kontrastu s pískově hnědým dřevěným obložením chalupy. Na dvou místech se také objevuje rudá - barva šípků a krvavých stop, které za sebou vrah dětí ve sněhu nechává. Plynutí života, poutě je zdůrazněno podlouhlým širokým formátem knihy a také vlnami závějí, které prolínají do písečných dun, které prolínají do kresby let na dřevěné desce stolu. Ve dvou intermezzech je vypravování přerušeno a autor píše o smrti, touze po životě a nesmrtelné lásce. Zde jsou Hrubínovy portréty a portréty jeho rodiny, vzpomínky zastřené modrou mlhou. Putování matky Marie, otce Josefa a jejich miminka nikde nezačíná, ani nekončí, proto se v začátku knihy krajina z vánice vynořuje a v závěru opět mizí. Nikomu nevnucuji své představy o protagonistech knihy, postavy se v ní totiž vůbec neobjeví a pouť závějemi tak podstupuje čtenář sám. Celková architektura knihy výrazně podporuje atmosféru a vyznění textu odpovídajícími výtvarnými prostředky.

Abstract:

The Lešany Crib is the last published book by František Hrubín. It tells a story that is 2,000 years old, but set in the time and landscape of his childhood. The journey of Mary and Joseph, who return home from a baptism with a baby in their arms, is interrupted by a snowstorm and a ghost that haunts them. Herod's soldier on his way to murder the baby Jesus drives the pilgrims to an pub to rest. But they leave the child outside. In the book, I worked with the atmosphere of the winter landscape in contrast to the sandy brown wood paneling of the cottage. Red also appears in two places - the colour of rosehips and the bloody footprints the murderer of children leaves in the snow. The flow of life, the pilgrimage, is emphasized by the book's wide, elongated format, and also by the waves of drifts that blend into the sand dunes that blend into the pattern of years on the wooden tabletop. In two interludes, the narrative is interrupted and the author writes about death, the longing for life and everlasting love. Here are portraits of Hrubin and his family, memories covered by a blue haze. The wanderings of mother Maria, father Josef and their baby neither begin nor end anywhere, which is why the landscape emerges from the blizzard at the beginning of the book and disappears again at the end. I do not impose my ideas about the protagonists of the book on anyone, as the characters do not appear in the book at all and the journey through the drifts is undertaken by the reader himself. The overall architecture of the book strongly supports the atmosphere and tone of the text with appropriate visual devices.
