Educational possibilities of imprisoned people in the Remand Prison Praha Ruzyně

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá specifiky věznění a vzdělávání v českém vězeňství. Hlavním tématem jsou možnosti vzdělávání vězněných osob ve Vazební věznici Praha Ruzyně, tedy osob ve výkonu vazby a výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, z pohledu vězněných osob a odborných zaměstnanců věznice. Práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části - teoretickou a praktickou. Úvod teoretické části práce se zajímá o historii a vývoj českého vězeňství, typy vězeňských zařízení, a profilaci Vězeňské služby a Vazební věznice Praha Ruzyně. Následně se práce věnuje sociálně-psychologickým aspektům trestu a stíhání. V poslední kapitole teoretické části práce jsou uvedeny charakteristiky výchovy a vzdělávání v penitenciární praxi. Zmíněna je také organizace výuky v rámci Středního odborného učiliště Vězeňské služby ČR, i ve věznicích mimo rámec jeho působení, a v poslední části je přiblíženo vzdělávání ve Vazební věznici Praha Ruzyně. V části praktické jsou analyzovány výsledky výzkumu, který byl uskutečněn ve Vazební věznici Praha Ruzyně formou dotazníkového šetření provedeného u vězněných osob, a formou standardizovaných rozhovorů s odbornými zaměstnanci věznice, a zároveň jsou ověřovány výzkumné hypotézy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the specifics of incarceration and education in the Czech prison. The main theme of the educational opportunities of inmates in the Remand Prison Praha - Ruzyně, therefore, remand and imprisonment, from the perspective of prisoners and prison service professionals. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Introduction the theoretical part of the thesis is interested in the history and development of the Czech prison system, types of prisons and the Prison Service profiling and prisons of Praha - Ruzyně. Subsequently, the paper deals with the socio - psychological aspects of punishment and prosecution. In the last chapter of the theoretical part shows the characteristics of education in the penitentiary practice. Mentioning the organization of teaching in vocational secondary schools of the Prison Service, and in prisons outside his work, and in the last section is described by education in the Remand Prison Praha - Ruzyně. In the practical results are analyzed research that was carried out in the Remand Prison Praha - Ruzyně through a questionnaire survey conducted among prison inmates, and the form of standardized interviews with professional prison staff, and are also tested hypotheses.
