Museological Literature of Chancellor Metternich's Library at Kynžvart Castle
Abstract:
V úvodu práce je stručně shrnuta historie rodu Metternich-Winneburg v návaznosti na zámek Kynžvart a jeho rozsáhlý knihovní fond. Stěžejní částí práce je pak katalog literatury o sbírkách a muzeích v největší ze tří kynžvartských knihoven, a sice knihovně rakouského kancléře Klemense Wenzela Lothara Nepomuka von Metternich, jednoho z nejvýraznějších evropských státníků 19. století.
Abstract:
The library of Kynžvart Castle in West Bohemia is one of the largest in the Czech Republic. This work aims to show its genesis in connection to Metternich House as well as the most important moments in the history of Kynžvart Castle.
