Comparison of leasing with debt financing and their perspective on the Czech leasing market

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou financování podnikových investic s využitím leasingu a úvěru v České republice. V teoretické části jsou představeny úvěr a leasing včetně jejich právních, daňových a účetních aspektů. Rovněž jsou zde zmíněny výhody a nevýhody spojené s využitím těchto produktů. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou obchodů na českém leasingovém trhu a rozebírá faktory, které se podílely na klesajícím objemu leasingových obchodů. Dále se věnuje srovnání obou forem financování na konkrétním příkladu financování zemědělského stroje. Pro komparaci je využívána metoda diskontovaných výdajů a metoda čisté výhody leasingu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the subject of financing of corporate investments via leasing and loans in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part presents loans and leasing, including legal, tax and accounting aspects. Advantages and disadvantages associated with the use of these products are also mentioned. The practical part analyses the Czech leasing market as well as factors that contributed to the decreasing share of leasing transactions. Furthermore, it presents a comparison of these two forms of funding in a particular example of financing an agricultural machinery. For comparison is used method of discount expenditures and method of net leasing advantage.
