Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá používáním didaktických her ve vyučování, se zaměřením hlavně na soutěživost a vnější formy motivace. Cílem teoretické části bylo shrnout novodobé poznatky z oblasti psychologie učení, motivace a moderních didaktických přístupů. Důraz byl kladen především na didaktické hry a jejich motivační složku. Cílem praktické části bylo metodou případové studie provést observaci ve výuce angličtiny v různých třídách a představit analýzu dotazníkového šetření zaměřeného na postoje žáků a učitelů k soutěžení v rámci výuky. V závěru práce se potvrdily hypotézy, že ve vzdělávání stále převládají metody založené na systému odměn a trestů vycházejících z behaviorálního přístupu, a že učitelé považují soutěžení a vnější formy motivace za vhodný prostředek k efektivnímu učení.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with the use of didactic games in teaching, concentrating mainly on competitiveness and extrinsic forms of motivation. The aim of the theoretical part was to summarize the latest findings from the field of psychology of learning and teaching, motivation and modern didactic approaches. Emphasis was placed mainly on didactic games and their motivational constituent. The aim of the practical part was to use the case study method to evaluate the teaching of English in different classes and to present a questionnaire survey analysis focused on attitudes of pupils and teachers to competing in teaching. In the Conclusion, the hypothesis has been confirmed that education is still based on a behavioral approach using rewards and punishments and that teachers consider competition and extrinsic forms of motivation to be an appropriate means of effective teaching.
