In this diploma thesis we focus on insurance reserves in life insurance. We will introduce the basic terminology in the field of actuarial mathematics used for writing this thesis. We will focus on deriving a systematic review of formulas for retrospective and prospective reserves for current net premium. V této diplomové práci se věnujeme pojistným rezervám v životním pojištění. Představíme základní terminologii z oblasti pojistné matematiky použitou při psaní této práce. Zaměříme se na odvození systematického přehledu vzorců retrospektivních a prospektivních rezerv pro pojištění za běžné netto pojistné.
