This thesis deals with problems which occur in consecutive interpreting and to what extent communication between the speaker and the interpreter can contribute to successful interpreting. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Tato práce se zabývá problémy, které mohou nastat v konsekutivním tlumočení a tím, do jaké míry může komunikace mezi řečníkem a tlumočníkem těmto problémům zabránit.
