Abstract:

Vliv environmentálních faktorů na radiální růst jedle bělokoré a přimíšených dřevin byl studován na 5 trvalých výzkumných plochách v porostech středního věku až v dospělých porostech v genové základně jedle bělokoré GZ 160-3 Hochwald v Předhoří Hrubého Jeseníku v Sudetské soustavě. Struktura, produkce, a biodiverzita porostních směsí s jedlí bělokorou byly dále studovány na 4 trvalých výzkumných plochách v porostech středního věku, kde byly zároveň studovány škody jelení zvěří u jedle bělokoré a smrku ztepilého, a to za použití standardních biometrických a matematicko-statistických metod. Ze studia radiálního růstu ve smíšených porostech jedlových bučin s hojně zastoupenou jedlí bělokorou vyplývá, že jedle je velmi plastická dřevina, která po odeznění stresových faktorů velmi dobře regeneruje na globální klimatické změny. Zejména pak dospělé porosty se vyznačují značnou strukturální diferenciaci a vyšší biodiverzitou ve srovnání s porosty středního věku. Z hlediska poškození kůry stromů loupáním a ohryzem jelení zvěří je více poškozována jedle ve srovnání se smrkem. Objem hnilob je však u jedle výrazně menší než u smrku.

Abstract:

The influence of environmental factors on radial growth of silver fir and admixed tree species was studied on five permanent research plots in middle-aged to mature stands at the site of silver fir genetic resources GZ 160-3 Hochald at the foothills of the Hrubý Jeseník Mts. in the Sudetes Mts. system. The structure, production and biodiversity of mixed stands with silver fir were also studied on four permanent plots in middle-aged stands where losses of silver fir and Norway spruce caused by red deer were investigated at the same time, using standard biometric and mathematical and statistical methods. The study of radial growth in mixed fir-beech stands with a high proportion of silver fir indicates that the fir is a very plastic tree species whose regeneration is very good after the abatement of stress factors under global climate changes. Particularly mature stands are characterized by considerable structure diversification and higher biodiversity compared to middle-aged stands. As for damage to the tree bark by red deer stripping and browsing the fir suffers greater damage than spruce. However, the volume of rots in fir is substantially lower than in spruce.
