Krvavá komnata Angely Carter obsahuje sbírku příběhů spadajících do gotického žánru díky použití gotického prostředí a symbolismu. Tato práce analyzuje tři povídky ze sbírky a sice Krvavá komnata, Námluvy pana Lva a Paní z domu lásky, které jsou plné neuvěřitelně imaginativní, velmi temné kreativity plné gotických symbolů a prostředí představující gotickou literaturu. Angela Carter's The Bloody Chamber is a collection of stories that fall under the Gothic genre as she has used enriched Gothic settings and symbolism in all of her stories.
