Genius loci of Liberec

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Genius loci Liberce se zabývá městem Liberec, jakým je a jakým by měl být. Teoretická část práce vymezuje základní pojmy, co je to genius loci a image místa. V další části práce je pozornost věnována charakteristikám města Liberec, jeho zajímavostem a významným osobnostem. Empirická část práce je věnována dotazníkovému šetření, které je zaměřené na vnímání charakteristik města a jeho atmosféry lidmi, kteří v něm žijí nebo ho navštěvují. Pro naplnění cílů byli osloveni lidé různých věkových kategorií. Na základě vyhodnocených výsledků výzkumu jsou navržena doporučení pro státní správu.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis Genius loci of Liberec is about Liberec city. The thesis is about what the city is and how it should be. The theoretical part of the paper defines the basic concepts of what a genius loci and image of space. In the next section, attention is paid to the characteristics of the city of Liberec, its attractions and important personalities. The empirical part of the paper is devoted to the questionnaire survey, which focused on the perception of the characteristics of the city and its atmosphere, the people who live and visit the Liberec city. To fulfill the objectives were approached by people of different ages. Based on the evaluated results of the research are suggested recommendations for the government.
