The Role of Integration Centers in the Process of Integration of Foreigners in the Czech Republic

Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje především na funkci integračních center v procesu integrace. Teoretická část práce definuje základní termíny, popisuje integrační politiku a poukazuje na situaci v oblasti integrace v ČR. Dále identifikuje faktory, které proces integrace ovlivňují a poukazuje na existenci neziskových organizací a jejich roli v procesu začleňování migrantů do české společnosti. Praktická část je zaměřena na jedno konkrétní integrační centrum v Praze a hodnotí formou kvalitativního výzkumného rozhovoru a SWOT analýzou postavení a význam této organizace. Výstupem práce jsou pak návrhy opatření a doporučení s poukázáním na kritické oblasti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the function of integration centers in the process of integration. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic therms, describes the integration policy and points to the situation of integration in the Czech Republic. The thesis also identifies the factors that influence the integration process and points to the existence of non-profit organizations and their role in the process of integrating migrants into the Czech society. The practical part is focused on one specific integration center based in Prague and evaluates the position and importance of this organization in the form of the qualitative research interview and SWOT analysis. The output of the thesis are proposals for measures and recommendations with reference to critical areas.
