Forensic digital traces and place of criminal act

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o vztahu digitálních stop k místu trestného činu v rámci kriminalistické a soudní praxe. Celá práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části se čtenář může dočíst o vzniku digitálních stop spojených s trestnou činností, o jejich identifikaci, analýze a v neposlední řadě také o významu a využití těchto stop v kriminalistice. V praktické části je pak uveden příklad možného postupu pro vyšetřovatele v rámci procesu zkoumání digitálních důkazů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the relationship of digital traces and the place of crime within the criminal and judicial practice. The entire thesis is divided in two parts {--} theoretical and practical one. In the theoretical part the reader can find information about origination of digital traces associated with criminal activities, about their identification and in the last but not the least place also about the importance and usage of these traces in the criminology. The practical part then specifies an example of possible procedure for the investigators within the process of examination of digital evidence.
