Production and economic evaluation of growing sugar beet in different ways of land processing

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá a hodnotí produkční a ekonomické aspekty pěstování cukrové řepy. V teoretické části práce je uvedena podrobná charakteristika plodiny včetně požadavků na prostředí, zařazení cukrové řepy do osevního postupu, výživa a ošetření porostu, sklizeň a skladování. V první části práce jsou také charakterizovány základní způsoby zpracování půdy, ale i moderní technologie. Zároveň práce popisuje ekosystémové služby a využití v oblastech fytoenergetiky nebo biotechnologií. Teoretickou část uzavírají kapitoly, které se věnují problematice ekonomiky pěstování, legislativě a přibližují současný stav v odvětví. Praktická část se zabývá hodnocením vlivu různého zpracování půdy na kvalitativní parametry, jako je například výnos nebo cukernatost. Pokus byl realizován na polní pokusné stanici v Žabčicích, v rámci pokusu AGRO 2. Došlo k hodnocení tří variant zpracování půdy – klasické zpracování s orbou, minimalizační technologie a přímé setí v ročnících 2017 – 2019.

Abstract:

Thesis deals with and evaluates the production and economic aspects of sugar beet growing. Thetheoretical part of the thesis contains a detailed characteristics of the crop, including environmental requirements, the inclusion of sugar beet in the sowing process, nutrition and treatment of vegetation, harvesting and storage. The first part of the thesis also characterizes the basic methods of tillage, but also modern technologies. Thesis describes ecosystem services and uses in the fields of phytoenergetics or biotechnology. The theoretical part concludes with chapters that deal with the issue of growing economics, legislation and approach the current state of the industry. The practical part deals with the evaluation of the influence of different tillage on qualitative parameters, such as yield or sugar content. The experiment was carried out at a field experimental station in Žabčice, as part of the AGRO 2 field experiment. Three variants of tillage were evaluated - conventional tillage, minimization technology and direct sowing in the years 2017 -2019.
