Bacterial tests in the screening of environmental mutagens
Abstract:
Rešeršní bakalářská práce je zaměřena na výskyt mutagenů v životním prostředí, způsoby jejich detekce pomocí bakterií, kvasinek, rostlin a zvířat. Informuje o rizicích vybraných kontaminant pro organismy. Je zaměřena na aplikační využití Amesova testu a stručně uvádí také další bakteriální testy. Srovnává krátkodobé testy genotoxicity s ohledem na jejich uplatnění a další perspektivu.
Abstract:
The research bachelor thesis focuses on the occurrence of mutagens in the environment, ways of their detection by bacteria, yeasts, plants and animals. It informs about the risks of selected contaminants for organisms. It focuses on the application of the Ames test and briefly lists other bacterial tests. It compares short-term genotoxicity tests with regard to their use and other perspectives.
