Analysis of software requirements for intranet development

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analyzováním požadavků klíčových uživatelů a jejich potřeb pro účely tvorby intranetového systému ve vysokoškolském prostředí. Teoretická část popisuje problematiku systémů a jejich tvorby včetně přístupů. Velmi důležitá pro tuto práci je oblast požadavků a význam modelovacího jazyka UML. Praktická část zjišťuje výchozí podmínky pro tvorbu intranetového systému a analyzuje tak prostředí Univerzity Hradec Králové. Na základě kvalitativního výzkumu v podobě semistrukturovaných rozhovorů jsou analyzovány a zpracovány potřeby klíčových uživatelů. Požadavky jsou následně revidovány a poskytnuty k odsouhlasení. V rámci projektu jsou vytyčeny funkční bloky, které jsou realizovány využitím agilních metod vývoje softwaru, nebo budou realizovány za předpokladu neměnících se podmínek z hlediska zdrojů. V závěru jsou navržena doporučení autora s ohledem na zjištění a vývoj okolností v průběhu realizace kvalifikační práce. Výstupem je model systému zpracovaný v nástroji Enterprise Architect, na jehož základě jsou generovány různé podoby dokumentace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of the requirements and needs of key users in the university environment to make a new intranet system. The theoretical part describes systems and their development including development approaches. Very important for this thesis are meanings of the UML (Unified Modeling Language) and the field of requirements. The practical part identifies current default conditions to make the intranet system and analyzes the environment of the University of Hradec Králové. Needs of key users based on qualitative research using the semi-standardized interview are analyzed and processed. Requirements are revised and confirmed by their owners. Functional blocks are defined in this project, which are or will be realized in the use of the agile methodology and the prerequisite of no changes in allocated resources. There are author's suggestions with respect to founded circumstances during the realization at the end of this thesis. Aim of this thesis is a model of the system made in the visual modeling tool Enterprise Architect. There are generated different kinds of documentation via the Enterprise Architect.
