Analysis of the influence of temperature and time changes on selected properties of a thermomechanically processed product

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou vlivu změny výšky teploty a doby setrvání na této teplotě v průběhu termomechanického zpracování polotovaru z materiálu 22MnB5 s povrchovou úpravou AlSi na vybrané mechanické vlastnosti a mikrostrukturu. Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na typy ocelí používané v automobilovém průmyslu a na způsoby jejich termomechanického zpracování včetně činitelů ovlivňujících jejich výsledné vlastnosti. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou změn vybraných mechanických vlastností a povrchové úpravy v závislosti na změně teploty a změně času setrvání na této teplotě. Dále je proveden experiment v rámci integrace nové křivky ohřevu, kdy je potřeba stanovit maximální dobu ohřevu dílu v peci. Odběr vzorků z experimentálně vyrobených dílů a jejich analýza pro ověření požadovaných parametrů dosažených po TMZ. Na základě výsledků byl určen maximální čas setrvání polotovaru v peci a zpracována doporučení, která povedou k menšímu množství neshodných výrobků.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the influence of temperature change and residence time at this temperature during the thermomechanical processing of a semi-finished product made of 22MnB5 material with AlSi surface treatment on selected mechanical properties and microstructure. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the types of steels used in the automotive industry and on the methods of their thermomechanical processing, including the factors affecting their resulting properties. The practical part deals with the analysis of changes in selected mechanical properties and surface treatment depending on the change in temperature and the change in residence time at this temperature. Furthermore, an experiment is performed within the integration of a new heating curve, when it is necessary to determine the maximum heating time of the part in the furnace. Sampling of experimentally manufactured parts and their analysis to verify the required parameters achieved after thermomechanical processing. Based on the results, the maximum residence time of the semi-finished product in the furnace was determined and recommendations were made that will lead to a smaller number of non-conforming products.
