Acrylate latexes and their use in modern medical sciences and in medicine

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na studium vodou ředitelných nátěrových hmot na bázi akrylátových latexů s nanočásticemi oxidu lanthanitého o koncentraci 1,5 %. Součástí této bakalářské práce je teoretická část, kde je vysvětleno složení nátěrových hmot, jejich rozdělení, antimikrobiální aditiva a nanočástice oxidu lanthanitého a jejich antimikrobiální účinky. V experimentální části je popsána příprava kopolymerních disperzí na bázi akrylátů. Připravené vodné disperze s nanočásticemi La2O3 byly porovnávány s vodnou disperzí bez obsahu nanočástic. Hodnoceny byly mechanické, fyzikální, chemické a antimikrobiální vlastnosti nátěrového filmu.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the study of water-borne paints based on acrylate latexes with lanthanum dioxide nanoparticles with a concentration of 1.5 %. Part of this bachelor thesis is the theoretical part, which explains the composition of paints, their distribution and also antimicrobial additives and lanthanum dioxide nanoparticles and their antimicrobial effects. The experimental part describes the preparation of acrylate-based copolymer dispersions. This prepared dispersions with La2O3 nanoparticles were compared with an dispersion without nanoparticles. The mechanical, physical, chemical and antimicrobial properties of the paint film were tested and evaluated.
