Durability evaluation of the selected interchangeable cutting inserts during the machining steel ČSN 41 7349

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou řezivosti vybraných vyměnitelných břitových destiček při soustružení. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. První částí je teoretická část, ve které je popsána problematika soustružení, vyměnitelné břitové destičky, materiály používané pro výrobu břitových destiček, druhy opotřebení nástroje spolu s problematikou obrobitelnosti, trvanlivosti, životnosti a řezivosti. Další částí je realizace experimentu, kde je popsán obráběný materiál, řezné podmínky a vyměnitelné řezné nástroje, včetně jejich EDS analýz. V poslední části jsou přehledně zpracovány hodnoty získané během experimentu. V této části jsou uvedeny vypočítané indexy řezivosti pro jednotlivé břitové destičky, zhodnocení drsností povrchu obrobku v průběhu experimentu a porovnání břitových destiček na základě trvanlivostí nástroje pro všechny zvolené řezné rychlosti. Výsledky experimentu jsou shrnuty v závěru diplomové práce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis shall focus on the analysis of the cutting ability of selected replaceable inserts during the turning process. The thesis is divided into three subsequent parts. The first one is the theoretical part, which describes the problematics of turning, replaceable inserts, it also touches the themes of the materials used for the inserts production, types of tool wear and the issues of their machinability, durability, lifespan and cutting ability. The second part focuse on the implementation of the experiment, which describes the machined material, the cutting conditions and the replaceable cutting tools, their EDS analyzes including. In the last part, the values obtained during the experiment are being clearly processed. In this section, the calculated cutting indexes for the individual inserts, the evaluation of the workpiece surface roughness during the experiment, and the comparison of the inserts based on tool lifespan of all selected cutting speeds are presented. The results of the experiment are summarized in the conclusion of the thesis thesis.
