Factors affecting emergence of plantations of fast growing species

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou plantáží rychle rostoucích dřevin se zaměřením na japonské topoly pěstované na území České republiky. V první části této práce se nachází přehled dřevin, které lze v našich podmínkách pěstovat. Dále jsou v práci obsaženy faktory, které ovlivňují vzcházení a růst těchto plantáží. V její další části je popsáno pěstování těchto dřevin, jako je například výběr vhodných stanovišť, zakládání plantáží nebo jejich způsoby pěstování a údržba. V druhé polovině se práce zaměřuje na produkční, energetické nebo výnosové parametry rychle rostoucích dřevin. K závěru je práce zaměřena na praktické sledování ovlivňujících faktorů plantáží v konkrétních lokalitách.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of fast-growing wood plantations with particular focus on Japanese poplars grown in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis presents an overview of various tree species that can be grown in the Czech Republic. It also includes factors influencing new emergence and growth of these plantations. The following section describes ways of growing these woods, or choosing suitable places for their planting. The second part of the thesis is devoted to productive, energetic, or economic (yield) parameters of these fast-growing woods. The last part of the thesis focuses on influential factors of plantations in specific areas.
