Teoretická část shrnuje informace o plýtvání potravinami. Zabývá se spotřebou potravin v České republice i ve světě a také jejím vývojem v průběhu posledních let. The theoretical part summarizes information about food wastage. It deals with food consumption in the Czech Republic and in the World, as well as its development in recent years. The thesis gives an overview of the causes of origin of food waste, its consequences, and mentions suggestions for its reduction.
