Supernatural beings in East Slavic folklore (a comparision of a translation and an original).
Abstract:
Předkládaná bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním překladu a originálu ukrajinské pohádky z různých hledisek. Nejdříve je rozebrána problematika pohanství a křesťanství, dále jsou přiblíženy nadpřirozené bytosti, konkrétně vodní, neboť v praktické části práce je analyzována pohádka, v níž se vyskytuje vodní démon.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the translation and the original format of ukrainian fairy tale from different point of views. We first analyse the conflict between paganism and Christianity, as we describe supernatural beings, namely water beings, because in the practical part of this thesis the fairy tale being analysed, includes a water demon.
