Faktory úspěchu mezinárodní expanze českých firem

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zkoumat faktory úspěchu českých firem, které expandovaly do zahraničí a které realizují většinu příjmů ze zahraniční. Byly osloveny firmy odpovídající těmto kritériím a 13 z nich souhlasilo se svou účastí ve výzkumu. Ten byl primárně založen na osobních rozhovorech s vedoucími pracovníky každé firmy. Aby byla zajištěno objektivní zachycení faktorů úspěchu, byly použity dvě nezávislé metody analýzy -- (1) analýza hypotéz, která spočívala v ověření hypotéz získaných z existující literatury a (2) analýza interview, kde byly vyhodnocovány odpovědi na otevřené otázky. Práce v závěru konstatuje, že hlavním faktorem úspěchu je globální přemýšlení firmy, následované obecnými faktory úspěchu firmy jako jsou lidé, způsob vedení firmy nebo vize. Na základě výzkumu 13 vybraných společností byly sestaveny krátké případové studie, které jsou v příloze práce.

Abstract:

The thesis aims to investigate success factors of Czech based ventures which successfully expanded abroad and contribution of the domestic market to their total revenues has become minor. Companies matching the description were shortlisted and asked for cooperation. 13 agreed to take part in the study. The study was primarily based on personal interviews with experienced representatives of each company. To ensure objective capture of success factors, two different methods were used -- (1) a hypotheses based analysis, which comprised of testing hypotheses based on literature review, and a (2) an interview analysis in which answers to open ended questions were analyzed. The thesis concludes that the decisive factor is a global mindset of the company, which is followed by universal success factors such as people, management practice or big vision. A short case study was written about each researched company to provide details and inspiration on what a successful international expansion of a Czech based company can look like.
