Abstract:
Práce se zabývá tématem knižního designu, vývojem knihy, její anatomií a formami. Zaměřuje se především na design knižní obálky, její vývoj, významná jména v této oblasti a její současné tendence ve světě a u nás. V závěru se stručně zmiňuje o nejpodstatnějších spolcích a soutěžích, které měly, nebo stále mají na poli českého knižního designu důležité postavení.
Abstract:
The essay deals with book design, development books, its anatomy and forms. It focuses primarily on the design of book covers, its development, significant names in the field and its current trends in the world and us. In the end briefly mentions the most important associations and competitions, which were, or still are important in the book design in Czech Republic.
