Biodegradation of syntetic dyes in a rotational disc bioreactor by ligninolytic fungi

Abstract:

V posledních letech je pozornost výzkumu degradace organopolutantů zaměřena na houby bílé hniloby. Degradační aktivita hub je spojována s aktivitami ligninolytických enzymů, které tyto houby produkují. Díky své nízké specifitě mají schopnost degradovat nejen lignin, ale i řadu rozmanitých organopolutantů jako jsou syntetická barviva. Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na houbové kmeny Pleurotus ostreatus a Irpex lacteus, jejichž degradační schopnosti byly zkoumány v imobilizovaných kulturách v rotačním diskovém reaktoru. Účinnost degradace byla zkoumána syntetickými barvivy rozpuštěných v médiu MEG při pH = 5,5. V reakcích byla použita barviva DB3 a RBBR.

Abstract:

In recent years is attention of research pollutating degradation is focused on white-rot fungi. The degradation activity fungi is associated with the activities of ligninolytic enzymes produced by these fungi. Due low specificity of enzymes they have the ability to degrade lignin, but also a number of diverse organopollutants as synthetic dyes. This thesis is focused on the fungal strains of Pleurotus ostreatus and Irpex lacteus. Degradation abilities were examined in immobilized cultures in a rotating disc reactor. Degradation efficiency was studied by synthetic dyes were dissolved in a liquid medium MEG at pH = 5,5. In experiments were used dyes RBBR and DB3.
