Temporary Heart Stimulation in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je věnována problematice dočasné externí stimulace srdce v přednemocniční neodkladné péči v praxi zdravotnického záchranáře. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na stručný popis anatomie a fyziologie srdce, na základní interpretaci EKG (elektrokardiografie), výčtem bradyarytmií, jejich diagnostikou a základní léčbou v přednemocniční neodkladné péči. Dále se práce věnuje metodě transtorakální dočasné zevní stimulace srdce. Výzkumná část analyzuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které probíhalo ve dvou vybraných krajích. Cílem tohoto šetření bylo zjistit četnost a nejčastější důvody k zahájení transtorakální dočasné zevní stimulace v přednemocniční neodkladné péči, zmapovat podmínky a dostupné pomůcky k provedení, porovnat úroveň znalostí zdravotnických záchranářů a zjistit, jestli jsou zdravotničtí záchranáři spokojeni se svými znalostmi a zda na daných záchranných službách probíhá pravidelné školení v dané problematice.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's degree thesis deals with the issue of temporary external heart stimulation in pre-hospital emergency care in a paramedic's practice. The theoretical part is focused on a concise description of heart anatomy and heart physiology, a basic ECG interpretation (electrocardiography), a list of bradyarrhythmias, their diagnostics and primary treatment in pre-hospital emergency care. Further, the work is concentrated on a method of the transthoracic temporary external heart stimulation. The research part analyses outcomes of the questionnaire survey which was held in two selected regions. The survey aim was to find out frequency and the most common reasons for launching transthoracic temporary external stimulation in pre-hospital emergency care, to chart conditions and available aids to provide it, to compare paramedics' level of knowledge and to find out if paramedics are satisfied with their knowledge and whether regular training in this issue is held at the particular emergency services.
