Abstract:

Disertační práce Portrét divadla Theater Brett do pádu „železné opony" je záznamem cesty Niky Brettschneiderové a Ludvíka Kavína k založení divadla Theater Brett v rakouském exilu a reflektuje jeho tvorbu v letech 1977-1989. Autorka se zaměřuje především na vývoj hereckých výrazových prostředků od mimojazykového k verbálnímu projevu, charakterizuje celkem čtyřicet tři inscenací. Práce obsahuje stručnou biografii Niky Brettschneiderové, odhaluje kořeny její pedagogické činnosti na Divadelní fakultě Janáčkovy akademie múzických umění v Brně a soustředí se na jedinečnost její herecké a divadelní tvorby. Stává se též podkladem pro zařazení divadla Theater Brett do kontextu evropského divadelního vývoje ve druhé polovině dvacátého století, kdy řada divadelníků opouští klasické přístupy k tvorbě a vydává se nekonvenčními směry

Abstract:

The dissertation work The profile of Theater Brett till the fall of the „ iron curtain " describes the journey of Nika Brettschneiderová and her husband Ludvík Kavín on their way to opening their theatre Theater Brett in exile in Austria. The thesis reflects Theater Brett's productions the years 1977-1989. The author mainly focuses on the development of an actor's means of expression from corporeal to verbal. The author characterizes altogether forty-three productions. The thesis contains Nika Brettschneiderova's short autobiography and uncovers the roots of Nika Brettschneiderova's teaching activity at Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. The author points out the uniqueness of her acting and theatrical work. The thesis incorporates Theater Brett into the context of European theatrical development in the second half of the twentieth century, when many theatre-makers moved away from classical forms and to follow unconventional trends.
