The bases of this bachelor thesis are two books written by Swiss writer, Max Frisch. It concerns Dienstbüchlein and Schweiz ohne Armee? Ein Palaver, in which the author devote to the second world war, that he personally participated in, when he was called to defend his homeland. Základem pro tuto práci jsou dvě knihy od švýcarského spisovatele Maxe Frische. Jedná se Dienstbüchlein a Schweiz ohne Armee? Ein Palaver, ve který se autor věnuje druhé světové válce, které se přímo účastnil, když byl povolán k obraně své vlasti. Cílem této práce je představit tuto problematiku, shrnout vzpomínky spisovatele a částečně je konfrontovat s fakty, která jsou známa v dnešní době.
