Graphic simulator of patrolling games

Abstract:

Patrolling games are games between a defender and an attacker on an oriented graph. The defender is trying to detect activities of the attacker on vertices of the graph, which the attacker can attack at any given time. The main goal of this thesis is to create a graphical simulator of patrolling games. In the beginning of the thesis, we will introduce patrolling games as such. In the following chapters, we will describe the design of the simulator as a web application, its controls and finally, its implementation. The thesis is complemented by an analytical part which focuses on the accuracy of the regular strategy synthesis for the defender considering the values of chosen parameters of the patrolling game.

Abstract:

Patrolovacie hry sú hry medzi obrancom a útočníkom na orientovanom grafe. Obranca sa snaží detekovať aktivity útočníka na vrcholoch grafu, ktoré útočník môže napádať v ľubovoľnom čase. Cieľom tejto práce je vytvorenie grafického simulátora patrolovacích hier. Na začiatku práce predstavíme patrolovacie hry. V ďaľších kapitolách opisujeme návrh simulátora ako webovej aplikácie, jeho ovládanie a nakoniec implementáciu. Práca je doplnená analytickou časťou, ktorá sa zaoberá presnosťou syntézy regulárnych stratégii pre obrancu vzhľadom na hodnoty vybraných parametrov patrolovacej hry.
