This thesis deals with the contrastive stylistic analysis based on two books, which are the German original by current writer Sven Regener "Herr Lehmann" and the Czech translation by Jana Zoubková. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kontrastivní stylistickou analýzou na základě dvou knih, a to německého originálu autora Svena Regenera "Herr Lehmann" a jeho českého překladu od Jany Zoubkové. Teoretická část je zaměřena na teorii překladu, překladatelský proces a především na stilistiku.
