IN THE "STOPOVER: Creative workshops and art studios of the Administration of Refugee Facilities of Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Dizertační práce NA ZASTÁVCE: Tvůrčí dílny a výtvarné ateliéry v Azylových zařízeních Správy uprchlických zařízení Ministerstva vnitra České Republiky prezentuje východiska, rozvoj a výsledky dlouhodobých aktivit realizovaných v posledních bezmála dvaceti letech v oblasti sociálních projektů na Katedře výtvarné výchovy Pedagogické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity. Projekt založení kvalitně vybaveného a odborně vedeného výtvarného ateliéru v Azylovém zařízení Zastávka (1998) umožnil dlouhodobou realizaci pedagogických praxí studentů katedry výtvarné výchovy. Zvolená koncepce řešení se ukázala s odstupem času natolik úspěšná, že na jejím základě byly vybaveny výtvarné ateliéry ve všech azylových zařízeních SUZ MV ČR. Vlastní text práce je rozčleněn do dvou částí. První z nich pojednává narativní formou o myšlenkových procesech, použitých vazbách a mechanismech potřebných k úspěšnému rozvoji projektu, definuje cílovou skupinu studentů a představuje koncepci tří tezí, které se staly jeho základem. V druhé části se předložený text konkrétně zabývá rozvojem sociálních projektů Katedry výtvarné výchovy PdF MU v návaznosti na různé formy grantové podpory v jednotlivých obdobích. Na základě archivních dat nás vrací do časového řešení navazujících etap projektu a je dokladem jeho náročnosti a naplněných cílů zadání.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis IN THE “STOPOVER”: Creative workshops and art studios of the Administration of Refugee Facilities of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic presents the starting points, development and results of long-term activities realized over the past twenty years in the field of social projects at the Department of Art Education of the Faculty of Education of the Masaryk University. The project of establishing a well-equipped and professionally-run art studio in the Zastávka Asylum Facility (1998) has made the long-term realization of pedagogical vocational practices of students of the Department of Art Education possible. The selected concept of the project solution proved to be so successful with time that all asylum facilities of the RFA MOI of the Czech Republic were provided with art studios. The actual text of the thesis is divided into two parts. The first one describes in a narrative way the thought processes, used connections and mechanisms needed for the successful development of the project, defines the target group of students and represents the concept of three theses that have become its basis. In the second part, the presented text deals specifically with the development of social projects of the Department of Art Education of the Faculty of Education MU, following the various forms of grant support in particular periods. Based on the archive data, the text throws us back to the time-bound solution of the successive stages of the project and is a proof of its complexity and of the fulfilment of its goals.
