Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rozborem tří otrokářských povídek, jejichž autoři byli Frederick Douglass, Harriet Jacobs a Booker T. Washington. Práce se soustředí zejména na období dětství, které tito tři autoři strávili v otroctví. This bachelor thesis provides an analysis of three slave narratives written by Frederick Douglass, Harriet Jacobs, and Booker T. Washington. The main focus of the thesis is put on the authors’ childhood, which they spent in slavery. The thesis compares the individual stages of the childhood and the issues enslaved children had to face, such as insufficient necessities of life and separation from the …more
