The main of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis of the figure of Bernhard Rothner in the novel by Daniel Glattauer "Love virtually". In the first chapter are introduced the life, publication and the main successes of the writer of novel. Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza postavy Bernharda Rothnera v románu spisovatele Daniela Glattauera "Dobrý proti severáku". V první kapitole jsou představeny život, dílo a hlavní úspěchy autora románu. Následuje definice pojmů "román", "dopis", "dopisový román" a stručné shrnutí historie jejich vzniku.
