Abstract:

Poslední dva roky přinesly celé společnosti velkou sociální i ekonomickou zátěž. Zažité hodnoty byly, a stále ještě jsou, těžce zkoušeny. Téměř každý z nás se musel novým podmínkám přizpůsobit a úplně každý se musel smířit se skutečností, že svět již nebude tím, čím býval. Lze si se současného dění vzít nějaké ponaučení? Opakují se pandemie a války s nějakou periodicitou, se kterou se musíme naučit žít? Dopady jsou totiž celospolečenské a s vyšší mírou připravenosti můžeme lépe čelit následkům, které přinese budoucnost. Se situací se potýkají jedinci, stejně jako firmy, hoteliéři i restauratéři. Diplomová práce, nazvaná Finanční analýza vybraného podniku, se zaměřuje na finanční analýzu jedné italské restaurace, která je situovaná nedaleko centra hl.m. Prahy. V analýze jsou využity data z posledních pěti účetně uzavřených let. Posledním rokem pro analýzu byl uzavřený rok 2021. Práce je rozdělená do několika oddílů. Začíná teoretickou částí, pokračuje analytickou částí, následně zahrnuje návrhy na zlepšení situace a konečně závěr, který shrnuje, čeho bylo docíleno a co bylo zjištěno. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny předpoklady nebo také vysvětleny pojmy, se kterými se čtenář potkává v celé diplomové práci. Analýza se poté hlouběji zabývá fakty a pracuje s daty z oficiálních zdrojů.

Abstract:

The past two years brought a huge social and economic burden to the whole society. Usual standards and values were and still are heavily tested and questioned. Almost each of us had to adapt to new conditions and had to except the fact that world is no longer in a state we knew. Can we learn something from the present situation? Are pandemics and wars cyclical and do we need to learn to cope with them? The consequences are affecting the whole society and with a greater degree of preparedness we can much more easily face the impacts which the future holds. The situation affected the individuals as well as companies, hotel and restaurant owners. This master thesis called ´Financial analysis of a given company´ focuses on a financial analysis of an Italian restaurant situated near the city centre of Prague. The analysis uses data from the past five years. The last year´s data which was used for the analysis is the year 2021. The thesis is divided into several sections. It starts with the theoretical part, followed by the analytical part afterwards includes improvement suggestions and finally the work ends with a conclusion which summarizes what has been achieved and found out. In the theoretical part requirements and definitions are described which the reader meets throughout the work. The analysis is concerned with facts and works with data from official sources.
