Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce "Mytologizovaný Dunkerk, perspektivy na evakuaci v druhé světové válce" se zabývá mytologizovanou verzí evakuace Britského expedičního sboru z pláží u Dunkerku a její reprezentací v populární kultuře. Cílem práce je analyzovat tento mýtus a následně zjistit, zda se jeho zobrazení od druhé světové války nějakým způsobem změnilo.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis "Dunkirk, Mythologized, Perspectives on the Evacuation in the Second World War" explores the mythologised version of the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from the beaches of Dunkirk and its representation in popular culture. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the myth of Dunkirk and to find out if its representation has changed in any way since the Second World War.
