Motivation and satisfaction of employees in a state semi-budgetary organization

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá motivací a spokojeností zaměstnanců ve vybrané státní příspěvkové organizaci. Teoretická část je zaměřena na pojmy motivace a její vybrané teorie, stimulace, spokojenost a výkonnost. Následně jsou témata předchozích kapitol zasazena do kontextu státní správy. Praktická část je založena na analýze dotazníkového šetření ve vybrané organizaci. Cílem této práce je identifikovat motivační faktory zaměstnanců a faktory jejich spokojenosti a nespokojenosti a vyhodnotit, zda jsou zjištěné faktory ve vybrané organizaci dostačující, nebo by potřebovaly vylepšit. Konkrétně je kladen důraz na rozpoznání slabých míst podniku z pohledu zaměstnanců. Závěrem jsou navržena doporučení pro vybranou státní příspěvkovou organizaci, včetně možných řešení v identifikovaných problematických oblastech.

Abstract:

This Bachelor Thesis deals with the motivation and satisfaction of employees in the selected state semi-budgetary organization. The Theoretical part of the work focuses on the concept of motivation and its selected theories, and on the concepts of stimulation, satisfaction and productivity. Subsequently, preceding topics are put in the context of state administration. The Practical part of this work is based on the analysis of a questionnaire-type survey carried out in the organization. The aim of this paper is to identify factors of motivation of employees as well as factors of their satisfaction and dissatisfaction, and to evaluate if the identified factors are sufficient or if improvement should be set up. The emphasis is being put on identification of the weaknesses of the organization from the point of view of its employees. In conclusion, recommendations are suggested, including prospective solutions to the problematic areas.
